Vocal Separator at vocalseparator.com provides online audio separation and browser-based audio tools. We supply processing software and downloadable results from files you have the right to use; we do not sell music, recordings or copyright licenses. For product or billing questions, visit our contact page.

Your audio and your rights

By uploading audio, you confirm that you own it or have all necessary permissions to upload, process and download it. You retain your rights to your original material. You authorize us and our processing providers to handle it solely to provide the requested separation and operate the service.

Separating a recording does not grant copyright, publishing, performance or distribution rights. You are responsible for obtaining any permission needed to use the output. Do not upload unlawful material or someone else’s private recordings without authorization.

The free service

Free cloud separation accepts one mono or stereo audio file at a time, up to 10 minutes and 100 MB. Two-track jobs provide vocals and instrumental WAV files; four-track jobs provide vocals, drums, bass and other WAV files. The daily allowance appears in the tool; it resets at midnight UTC and is tracked with an essential browser cookie, without an account. Confirmed failed or canceled jobs are returned to that browser’s allowance when their status is checked. A submission with an unknown outcome remains reserved until its failure can be confirmed. Separate network safeguards and site-wide capacity limits can also restrict processing; restoring a browser allowance does not increase that capacity.

Local browser tools

Tap tempo, audio BPM detection and bass boost run on your device without an upload or separation allowance. Their file and duration limits appear beside each tool. Bass boost exports a 44.1 kHz, 16-bit WAV; it does not isolate instruments or repair source distortion. Keep your original and save local results before clearing the file or leaving the page. Use recordings you have permission to process; applying EQ does not grant rights to distribute them.

Limitations

AI separation can produce artifacts and may not fully isolate every sound. Listen to your results before relying on them. Processing times and availability vary. Keep a copy of your source file and download free results within 55 minutes after processing finishes. Uploads are temporarily stored and deleted automatically; this does not extend download availability. See the privacy policy for deletion timing. This service is not permanent storage.

Acceptable use

Use local files only. Streaming-platform imports, automated quota evasion, credential sharing, service abuse and unlawful redistribution are not permitted. We may limit access or remove content in response to abuse or a substantiated rights complaint.

Minute Pack: billing and delivery

The Minute Pack costs $9.99 USD once, tax inclusive, for 90 processing minutes. It does not automatically renew. Minutes expire 12 months after the verified payment time. Purchases and paid batches require an account with a verified email address. Waffo Pancake handles checkout and payment records as the merchant of record; its applicable checkout terms also apply.

Each file rounds up to the next whole processing minute, with a minimum of one minute. A 3 minute 20 second file uses four minutes. Two or four stems from one separation use the same minutes. A batch accepts up to ten files and sixty processing minutes; each file is limited to ten minutes and 250 MB. Site capacity and audio validation apply. Models, quality and WAV formats are the same as the free service.

Minutes are reserved after all uploads are verified and spent only after the complete result is saved privately. Confirmed failed jobs and jobs canceled before processing return their reserved minutes once. If the processing status is uncertain, minutes stay reserved while we check the original job; we do not start another paid separation automatically. Downloads and recovery do not consume minutes. A started provider job cannot be canceled through the batch page; jobs that have not started can be canceled.

Paid results can be retrieved in the verified account for seven days after each file is ready. This is temporary delivery, not permanent storage. Keep your original files and download the results. A ZIP contains the successfully delivered files, each in a named folder; failed files return minutes and are not included.

Refunds and cancellation

An entirely unused pack is eligible for full refund review within seven days after purchase, once any active tasks are resolved. Partially used packs, persistent delivery failures and incorrect charges require support review. There is no subscription to cancel. Read the refund policy for how to submit a request, how held minutes are handled and how approved refunds are returned. Mandatory consumer rights are not limited by this policy.
